Extra info
Twin Lakes Golf Course (TLGC) is a beautiful 18 hole - par 70 golf course with rolling tree-lined fairways and bentgrass greens.
Location: TLGC is in Mountain Home in the picturesque Arkansas Ozark Mountains. The golf course's name was derived from its location between large "twin lakes" and rivers: Norfork Lake, Bull Shoals Lake, the White River and the Buffalo National River.
History: The front 9-hole course opened on June 21, 1959. It was designed by Herman Hackbarth, a well-known golf course designer with assistance by members of the National Golf Foundation. Hackbarth was a pro and greenkeeper in Little Rock before designing 40 courses. The Architects of Golf credits Hackbarth with introducing bentgrass greens to Arkansas courses.
