Ballindalloch Castle Golf Course in the Highlands of Scotland, on the banks of the River Avon, is the perfect place to find escape from an imperfect world. It is a nine-hole course designed by Donald Steel who, by imaginative use of alternative tees, has achieved the illusion of making nine holes into 18. Purists who scoff at the idea would be missing a treat if they passed it by.
