The par 73 Palmerston Course, designed by the renowned architect Donald Steel, wends its way through mature woodland. Rare Hornbeam, Scots and Corsican pine and 300 year old beech trees create some of the most spectacular hazards you are ever likely to encounter on a golf course.
Appropriately, Brocket Hall's two Championship Golf Courses are named after the Prime Ministers who used to reside at Brocket Hall. The Melbourne Course, designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark follows the natural undulations and contours of the 18th Century parkland. The par 72 provides a most enjoyable challenge in stunning surroundings. The course crosses the River Lea several times, and golfers are carried across the Broadwater by a ferry to complete the 18th hole.
