Extra info
This 9 hole course behind the Halifax International Airport has been a favourite of local golfers since it was opened. It is well known as a challenging course with rolling fairways, a few well placed water hazards and sand traps as well as an unforgiving rough. Dog legs on #3, #4, #5 and #8 require a well thought out and executed first drive if you hope to make par.
The course is situated on 100 acres of fairly flat land allowing for easy walking. There is a good mix of of holes with two par 3's; two par 5's and five par 4's with both left and right doglegs in play. The greens are are bent grass and of medium size. Fairways are generous, however for a good score, accurate approach shots and a great touch around the greens are essential. Being only 30 minutes from Halifax and requiring no tee times makes for an accessible round of golf anytime.
