Extra info
Donegal Golf Club was founded in 1960 and a course was laid out over 9 Holes on a hillock near the town on the lands donated by the Temple family, owners of Magee Ltd, famous for their Donegal Tweeds.
For the following decade devotees to the ancient game honed their skills there. But the drumlin soil of Tullycullion was not conducive to winter golf, so the more enthusiastic members journeyed to Bundoran to maintain their swing.
