Extra info
Rufford Park is a unique location for golf and offers a fresh approach to playing the game, the course provides a challenge to golfers at every level without the intimidation of a championship course. The course has been created to allow golfers to play a choice of nine-hole games with both the 9th & 18th holes returning to the club house. There have been extensive course improvements over the last three years with, two greens and one complete hole being rebuilt , 12 bunkers have been redesigned and four tees realigned. The most memorable hole is the 17th which has been quoted to be worth the green fee alone, requiring a daunting shot off a 50ft ledge and a carry over a meandering river to a wide green , the 170-yard par 3 is quite awesome. Rufford Park is the perfect Golf Day venue with numerous packages to suit both the corporate market and societies, with anything from 12 -100 golfers catered for. The lodge style club house is the ideal place to relax post-round.
