Woodford is a challenging 5,498-yard nine-hole course in the midst of Epping Forest and just a mile and a quarter from the North Circular Road. Visitors are welcome to play 9 or 18 holes in this sylvan setting to the sound of glorious birdsong. Green fees are £9 for 9 holes and £15 for 18, but the course is reserved for members at certain times on Saturdays and Sundays and for women members on Tuesdays from 9am until noon.
