Extra info
Founded in 1895 on land owned by the Earl of Dartmouth, this well established and prestigious members club creates the complete golfing experience for those who appreciate tradition and excellence in quality surroundings. Visitors, Corporate Parties and Societies are welcome Monday to Friday throughout the year. The exclusive and picturesque golf course wanders over wooded heathland and is generally recognised to be a challenge to the most experienced of Golfers with its greens renowned for their borrows and speed. The original architect was H.S.Colt who has provided a course of Nature's own making where each hole is entirely separate, shielded from the others by either natural banks or lines of trees. In all, we have a course that demands difficult carries and requires careful placing of shots that have been given a great deal of thought.
