The John O'Gaunt course is a magnificent example of parkland golf and undoubtedly one of the finest in the country. A gently undulating terrain, with eighteen golf holes full of interest and character.
The beautiful trees on the course are worthy of special mention. Stately cedars, towering limes, limes oaks, weeping willows, a wonderful variety of pines all combine to provide a superb backdrop to the tees, fairways and greens. A slow moving river winds its way across the fairways of four holes providing an excellent water feature.
The course is a true test of golf and certainly no pushover.
John O'Gaunt is a top quality golf course which has matured naturally over many years thus providing players with carpet-like fairways and true greens.
