The Warren Golf Club presents a rare challenge – golf as it used to be. It is the only true links course on the South coast of Devon, sited in a National Nature Reserve. With water on both sides of the course and often a tricky wind the course can be demanding, but the surroundings and natural beauty more than compensate for the occasional errant shot.
The only links golf course on the south coast of Devon, with river on one side and sea on the other. Superb greens to be found after negotiating the fairways. The course may seem short, but is one of the toughest tests in the county. Over 100 years old, the natural presentation of the course offers a round of golf as it used to be.
The course lies entirely within a National Nature Reserve, offering glimpses of rare species of both flora and fauna. The Warren is on one of the main migratory routes for rare sea birds, which visit annually. Birds of prey fly overhead, whilst you may also glimpse fox, stoat, deer and, of course, rabb
