Extra info
As the oldest golf club in Somerset and one of the oldest in the West of England (founded in 1882), Minehead is justly proud of its course, which combines the best of links and some characteristics of parkland golf. The greenstaff, under the direction of Robert Barrett, himself a county player, take a pride in the presentation of the course. The greens are as good, winter or summer, as you will find anywhere. At 6,228 yards, the par of 71 represents a true test for the scratch golfers as well as the novice.
