Extra info
In Collingtree Park, Johnny Miller, the course designer and British and US Open winner, has brought the American concept to Northamptonshire. Ideally situated just off junction 15 of the M1, the course is accessible from most parts of the country and offers a fantastic day's golf.
Having hosted the British Masters in 1995 and 1996, Collingtree Park provides the sternest of tests off the Championship tee. On 10 holes interesting and challenging water features give all standard of golfer great excitement and a sense of achievement once the hazards have been overcome.
Away from the water, many of the back nine holes give the feel of links golf at its best with mounding providing hazards similar to seaside dunes. More variety is seen at the delightful 10th hole set in a parkland atmosphere with some beautiful specimen trees.
