Extra info
Boston West started out back in 1993 as purely a driving range, not your run of the mill range though as it has 20 floodlit bays with a viewing area.
It also has a range of vending machines to top you up with food and drink whilst going through all that hard practice! In 1995 due to demand, a nine hole course was opened which is a real test of golf, with water hazards on quite a few holes.
Five years on and the nine hole extension opened and has been a tremendous success. As good a challenge as the original nine holes with undulating greens, more water and cleverly placed bunkers. What we now have in total is a par 71 course of some 6,333 yards.
Not only did the nine hole extension open during 2000, because in August last year we opened a 6 hole par 3 academy course. This is definitely not a pitch and put I might add and once you have played it you will understand why I say that. A testing little course of excellent quality, the greens are to the same standard as the 18 hol
