Extra info
Seven miles south of Berwick-upon-Tweed, this is a traditional links course which provides a fair test of your golf skills, especially when the wind blows. It is rarely badly affected by poor weather sufficient to close many other courses in the vicinity, and is therefore playable throughout the whole year.
It is a members' club but visitors are welcome to play any day, provided there are no prior club commitments. It is always wise to telephone in advance to check this out. Parties are accepted, bookable in advance, on most weekdays. There is full catering except for Tuesdays, when soup and sandwiches may be available. A well-stocked professional's shop is to be found close to the first tee.
