The Course has a surface of more than 20 hectares and its slightly wavy layout with pine wood has as a water obstacle the beaches of the Ria de Arosa, which go along the five of the nine holes of which the Course consists and over which the exit shuts of two of the holes are made.
The itinerary, which cannot be qualified as very long, is very technical. One has to be very precise and think of how to play the ball in order to set it in position for the next shut. This, combined with the beauty of its surrounding and the excellent care of the Course, has turned the itinerary of La Toja into one of the most attractive ones for all players and is continuously mentioned in national and international magazines.
