The Bellville Golf Club is situated in the heart of Cape Town's northern suburbs, with Bellville being a residential area overlooking the various sprawling areas of Cape Town. The Golf Club sits in a valley and you will find yourself tackling some considerable slopes during your round. There are two compensating factors for climbing some of these slopes, the magnificent views from the high vantage points and the standard of the shapely greens that provide a memorable putting experience throughout the course. Indeed, the standards have consistently improved over the whole of the course, reflecting a commitment from the club members to provide a quality golfing experience to both the local and overseas visitors.
Historically, this course was very wet in winter, but in recent years a programme to provide storm water drains has resulted in a really much-improved venue both in winter and summer.
The improvements are not only reflected in the drainage, but also in the attention to detail throughout the course. From the opening short and narrow par 4 with a blind tee shot you will enjoy a real quality round of golf.
