36 holes of golf at Thirteenth Beach has become a reality with the opening of The Creek Course by Nick Faldo on 9th February 2004. Faldo who co-designed the course with leading Australian golf architect Tony Cashmore set the inaugural course record shooting 69 with six birdies in the first 10 holes.
"The mission with The Creek Course was to give people a variation, players will enjoy that we've got big long sloping fairways and if they're looking for a bit of strategy, they are going to enjoy themselves. I like building a challenge, that's what excites me as a designer", Faldo said.
