Extra info
Desert Springs is Europe’s most unique golfing destination, the first and only “Arizona” style desert golf course in Europe, situated on the unspoilt Mediterranean coast of South East Spain.
The par 72 Indiana Course has been built to the full USGA specifications of the now famous desert courses of Arizona and California and is truly stunning.
A total of 600,000 succulents, plants and ground cover have been planted around the course that become ever more dense and progressively more troubling the further away the golfer is from the fairway, until they culminate in the dreaded “spiked lies”. The fairways have been kept generous to ensure that the less expert player can enjoy and improve his game whilst absorbing the awesome landscape and views that encompass The Indiana, when endeavouring to avoid the large cactus and massive rocky outcrops.
