Extra info
Professional players are sure to find a game on the Porto Carras Golf Course an exciting affair.
The first nine holes are quite difficult with two long Par 5, two Par 3 close to 170 m and five Par 4 holes which require considerable skill to avoid the strategically designed bunkers. Yet the other nine holes following a path next to and between ponds require players to deliver daring strikes, making the game a truly exciting affair.
The 18 Holes course which is situated at 40th parallel is protected by the warm Mediterranean climate and the area's micro-climate and meets all the criteria needed to host international tournaments all year round. Coverning 77 hectares it is designed to make the game excisting for both professional and amateur players. The first nine holes are rather difficult, with two long Par 5s, two Par 3s, close to 170 meters and five Par 4s, which need a lot of dexterity if you want to avoid all the traps that are strategically designed to challenge you.
