The golf course was designed in the early 1970' s by the 3 times Open champion Henry Cotton ( 1934,37 & 48 ). Palacerigg Golf Club was formed in 1975.
Palacerigg is located 10 miles North East of Glasgow on the outskirts of Cumbernauld and is located within Palacerigg Country Park. As well as the golf course the public park offers such attractions as Scottish and European wildlife, nature trails, millennium longhouses, visitors centre, childrens
play area ,etc.
The benefits of membership include competitions every week-end and a mid-week senior medal every Wednesday plus access to a private clubhouse with
facilities. There are team matches as well as singles and doubles
competitions. All members will receive a national handicap.
