Extra info
For a relatively new course (1997) this golf course is good.
The First tee is relatively straight flanked by large trees to the left and bunkers dotted throughout and a good hole to get the swing into gear. The course is challenging and in summer is a real pleasure to play on. The greens are well maintained and the the fairways usually always clear of rubble. There are some lovely par 3s and difficult dog legged par 5s. All in all I am glad to be a member. The only minor problem is that in winter the cousre tends to be a bit water logged, but that is consistent with other
parkland/woodland courses, and reflects the beautiful layout of the rolling topography of many of the holes, which is accompanied by various water hazards.
