Despite what the name suggests, Cathkin Braes is in fact a relatively flat course. It is situated in the South East of Glasgow, near Rutherglen and is some seven miles from the City airport. The course lies in a triangle between Rutherglen, East Kilbride and Carmunnock and can be reached by travelling along the A759 and then take the B759 cut-off to Carmunnock.
