The Chantilly Golf Club is on of the most traditional club in the Paris area. The club has two championship layouts set in the splendid natural environment of the Apremont estate forest: the Vineuil course and Les Longeres course. Designed by famous architect Tom Simpson at the beginning of the century, the Vineuil course has retained its original character and despite the extension to 36 holes and the improvement made over the years, it has remained virtually unchanged until today.
Vineuil is considered as one of the best course in Europe and is ranked 3rd. by British magazine Golf World amongst the Top 100 in continental Europe. This very long layout with well separated fairways stretches through the Apremont forest in outstanding natural surrounding. Vineuil is nicely complemented by the new Donald Steel course Les Longeres, built in 1990.
