Extra info
The Atlantic, designed by Robert Trent Jones II, was inaugurated in 1992. This 18 holes, par 72 championship course of 6.290m. Ranked among the best European courses, it received the Portuguese Open in 94 and 95, the Estoril Challenge in 97, and was again chosen to host the Estoril Open 99. Very well integrated in the landscape, it offers a challenge to all golfers, as well as breathtaking views of the ocean with Estoril and Cascais in the foreground, but also of the mountains.
The Monastery, also designed by Robert Trent Jones II is 9 holes, par 35 of 2.588m. Open in 1995, it spreads around the historical part of the Resort and is the perfect complement of the Atlantic Course. Challenging but easier, high handicap players feel more comfortable.
Full practice facilities include a Putting Green, Chipping Green with 2 bunkers, and Driving Range with 20 bays on grass. 2 resident professionals are available for individual tuition or clinics.
