Extra info
This James Braid designed links has been acclaimed by golf writers as
"a gem of a course" and "perhaps the brightest jewel in the Highlands golfing crown".
Small deceptive greens and strategically placed bunkers, as well as sea alongside eight holes and gorse waiting to devour the wayward shot inland, all add up to a greater golfing experience than many a longer course.
This private club, established in 1888, gives a warm welcome to visitors in the
knowledge that they will almost certainly wish to come back.
A big off-course attraction are the bottle-nosed dolphins in the Firth
in the view of the golfers.
