The culinary offer at The Xara Palace – Relais & Chateaux is an extension of the five star standing bestowed on the hotel amenities. Our award winning kitchen brigade ably lead by our talented Executive Chef have and continue to delight the palate of our multinational clientele. Our ‘de Mondion’ roof top restaurant rates highly among the best restaurants on the Island and it is said that a visit is ‘de rigeur’ by gourmets and gourmands at least once during their sojourn in Malta. The ‘de Mondion’ provides spectacular panoramic views in a comfortable and convivial setting. The service is discreet yet attentive leaving you to time and peace to savour the cuisine, the company and the view. Al Fresco dinners are equally enjoyable during our warmer starry nights: by the way the frequent colourful firework displays are always ‘on the house’. The Gastronomy combines the finest seasonal produce to create subtle innovative dishes combined with a rich Mediterranean fare. The de Mondion Restaurant open for Dinner from Monday to Saturday, from 19:30 hours until 22:30 hours. Restaurant closed on Sundays. Lunch is available on request.
